Good afternoon! Hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day! After somewhat of a good night's sleep last night, we were up early and ready to begin our day. It has been a very productive day, and it isn't even over yet!

Our work crews left early this morning, the first being the roofers. They worked all day on the Chastine's roof. Joe Chastine is always serving our youth by cooking breakfast and even lunch for them on many occasions. We wanted to do something that would bless him for being a blessing to us. The next out the door was the Backyard Bible Club crew. They headed to McKenzie Court and 25 kids came out to participate. They sang and danced, talked about Paul and how Jesus spoke to him, played games, ate snacks, and made silly sunglasses as a craft. The debris cleanup crew was the next out the door. They worked all day chopping down trees, moving branches, and cleaning up peoples' yards. The last but certainly not least was the paint crew. They spent all day working in Sydney Allen's house painting, caulking, cleaning, and spackling.

Our youth worked hard today, and I was very proud of their perseverance and heart for service. The work that they did was not easy, but they toughed it out all day long. Please pray for energy and strength  as we prepare to go to Holt Baptist Church for a block party and concert!
