The block party and concert at Holt Baptist was a success! We began the night by eating barbecue chicken sandwiches and hamburgers along with some fruit for desert. In honor of Memorial Day, Rick Mitchell, the pastor of Holt Baptist, lead us in the pledge, and his daughter, Rachel Mitchell, sang the national anthem. The choir did a fabulous job singing and dancing.  Some of our adults joined us for the last song, “Our God Saves”. We are an all-inclusive choir! There were once again inflatables and carnival games for the kids to play on before and after the concert. The people there repeatedly thanked us for coming and commended us on our performance. While we appreciated the compliments, we want to continually direct our praise to Jesus because He is the only person that deserves the glory!
